Getting Started - What's first?

Applying Online – All application fees waived for online applications!!

  • Sign up for an application account at UTAR Online Application Portal (Choose the appropriate category). 
  • Watch the UTAR Online Admission Application video for a step-by-step guide.
  • Provide all required information as well as necessary supporting documents as listed in the Application Checklist and ensure that the information provided are complete and correct.
  • If you encounter any issue or difficulty in uploading the supporting documents, you may also opt to manually email the documents to admission@utar.edu.my after completing the online application process. 

Application Status – Post-Application Process, What’s Next?

  • You may check on the status of your application via UTAR’s Admission Status Enquiry webpage upon successfully submitting your Online Application Form.
  • Status updates of your application can also be received via email or SMS.
  • You will be notified in regards to your offer of admission within one working week* upon a successful online application.
  • If your application is successful and you have obtained the offer of admission, you can obtain further information on how to accept the admission offer to confirm your place as a student in UTAR via the Acceptance and Registration webpage.

    Does not apply to applicants with diploma or special circumstances (vertical/horizontal credit transfer) whom are required to undergo a credit evaluation process which may take longer than one week.
