How to Apply

For January 2023 Intake, commencement dates for :-
Foundation & Bachelor Degree Programme - Monday, 30th. January 2023

STEP 1: Online Application and Submission

Apply early !  Remember that places are limited for all programmes. It is a good idea to apply at least two to three months before commencement date, in order to avoid any disappointment and to give you enough time to organise yourself.

STEP 2: Supporting documents for Application

Please prepare the relevant documents as listed below and send together with your DOWNLOAD FORM by email to ' admission@utar.edu.my '
OR you can upload the documents via the ONLINE FORM system:

  • Copy of actual SPM / other equivalent results
  • Copy of actual STPM / A-level / SAM / CPU / UEC / other equivalent results
  • Copy of School Leaving Certificate
  • Copy of Identity Card
  • Copy of MUET (compulsory for STPM holders)
If using other qualification(s), for example Diploma/Advance diploma from College/Institution/Polytechnic:
  • Copy of Certificate of Awards.
  • Copy of Official Academic transcript
  • Programme structure and syllabi (softcopy in PDF)
  • Official letter from Private College/Institution of Higher Learning on the standard Minimum/Accreditation from the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA)
  • All relevant information and materials related to your previous studies from SPM onward.

Please take note that application submitted without the above documents will be processed for normal admission without any consideration for credit transfer.

STEP 3: Submission of Application 

Online payment for processing fee of RM 60.00 via Public Bank Online / VISA & Master Credit Card (for Malaysian applicants)

For international applicants, you will be guided on the payment of the processing fee of US$100.00 / MYR 400.00 prior to the submission of the online application form via this link: http://my2.utar.my/iadmission/login.jsp

For your application to be processed without DELAY, it is very important that your form is COMPLETE.
